Young Landcarers Banksia Coast has started a series of nursery mornings for young people, families, and school community members.

The sessions give participants a hands-on way to learn about local native plants, seedling care, and how nursery work supports planting days across the region.

Hands-on learning

Activities include potting up seedlings, learning simple plant hygiene practices, identifying common local species, and understanding why local provenance matters.

Building confidence

The program is designed to help younger volunteers feel welcome, useful, and connected to visible environmental work in their own community.
