Banksia Coast and Hinterland Landcare has opened its winter planting season, with volunteer days planned across creek, farm, and coastal project sites.
The program brings together local groups, landholders, schools, and partner organisations to plant locally appropriate native species and strengthen practical community involvement.
What is planned
Planting days will support creek-bank shade, coastal dune recovery, pollinator habitat, and demonstration sites for small farms. Some activities will be beginner-friendly working bees, while others will support existing project teams with follow-up maintenance.
How to get involved
Members and volunteers can follow the Events page for upcoming dates, or contact the volunteer coordinator to be matched with a suitable activity.
