Volunteer equipment for safer working bees
Donations help provide the gear that makes working bees safer, easier, and more welcoming for new volunteers.

Volunteer days work best when people feel safe, prepared, and welcome. Basic equipment can make the difference between a working bee that feels hard to join and one where a first-time volunteer can step in with confidence.
For Banksia Coast Landcare, equipment is used across dune care, creek planting, community clean-ups, nursery work, school activities, and local group events. This kind of donation supports the people who do the practical work.
What donations help make possible
- Gloves, hand tools, first-aid supplies, sunscreen, water stations, and shade.
- Safety signage, temporary fencing, registration materials, and volunteer induction supplies.
- Shared equipment kits that local groups can borrow for small working bees and community events.
What people can see
Supporters help more people participate safely, especially new volunteers, families, students, and community members who may not already own suitable field gear.
